We paid to get upgraded to a 2-bedroom and it was the best decision. We like this resort because of the friendly staff, the beautiful view from our large balconies (since we upgraded, we had 2 large balconies), the well-equipped kitchen for us to make simple meals (breakfast), and the free ferry ride from the resort to Hamilton. The resort also offers one free round of golf which we didn't have time to enjoy. We like the on-site restaurant, Aurora. The staff was friendly at the Aurora and the lunch was very very good. We stayed for 2 nights and moved to a beach resort for the rest of our stay but Newstead was a better fit for a family of 4 adults who prefer simple and quiet breakfast on the balcony.

Everything about the Newstead Belmont Hills was exceptional! The only thing missing from the extravagent room was a microwave; however the staff in the restaurant and pool bar were happy to warm up my leftovers whenever necessary. The ocean view from my room and patio and ferry to Hamilton added to my excitement, rest and relaxation. The Aurora restaurant's menu is 1st class; I also took the shuttle to Divot's Bar and Grill for dinner a couple times to feast on fish & chips and lobster ravioli 😋😋. Bermuda is not for frugal travelers as it's the most expensive place in the world to live!

I loved the privacy, cleanliness and beauty. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Latitcia, at the front desk went over and beyond in our estimation. she is a gem. She personally made sure were were situated. she escorted us to our room. Set up the AC and got the TV working. she gave us a tour of the property on our way and showed us the best routes to go to avoid the steps. That’s just a taste of what she did to make sure we were comfortable. She is amazing!! An asset to your establishment.

Free shuttle services to Hamilton, Newstead golf club and beach were very helpful. Director of Golf (Darron) provided great assistance to us in sorting our golf games (we played five times during our stay!). Food in Aurora was excellent. Kitchen area within room very helpful in sorting out breakfast options. Overall we had a great time at the resort.

The rooms and suites were spacious and comfortable, the restaurants were excellent, golf was very lovely and the course was just challenging enough, and the spa was very nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful when we inquired on anything. The views and grounds are beautiful!
